Roll dimensions are determined by 3 factors.
Width of Roll – Outer Diameter of Roll – Inner Diameter of Core
Thermal paper is pre-coated with a chemical that darkens when heat is applied. Thermal paper printers use thermal heads which deliver small amounts of heat to the paper. As the paper reacts to this heat, letters and images are produced as transmitted through the thermal printer.
The image on Bale Data Services thermal paper roll will remain legible for 5-7 years, assuming the documents are properly stored (away from sunlight and high temperatures). On a cheaper quality substitute paper, the same image is likely to deteriorate after a period of 1 -2 years. The difference in the duration of your image on thermal paper is dependant on the quality of the paper used.
At Bale Data Services we only use a high quality European Paper which ensures your print will remain legible on receipts etc. for many years to come.
At Bale Data Services we are able to custom print on your rolls (front or reverse) to your specific requirements.
